Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an elite CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she works with athletes. Annie is the first woman to be crowned the winner of the CrossFit Games twice. In 2010, she was 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir is a famous Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media celebrity. She was the first woman to win an award at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012. She also won the CrossFit Games in 2012 twice. She also won Dubai Fitness Contests in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was raised in Iceland, Reykjavik along with her family. As a child Annie was a fervent sport fan who loved exercising. She took home numerous awards in competitions for school. In 2009, she participated at her very first CrossFit match in California. The performance of her was impressive in those competitions. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 (as at 2021). She is 5' 7 tall, and weighs about 67 pounds. Annie started her CrossFit journey in 2009, in California. She did well in her first events and finished in top 10 out of 70. She was not able to earn any awards, and finished 11th in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie won again the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. She was the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games at once. Besides this in 2014 she won a silver medal and then in 2021 was the last time she took home an Olympic bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie is an instructor and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she established in.
