Mary Marg Helgenberger, born November 16, 1958 in America, is a professional actress. She began her career in the 1980s, and first came to attention for playing the role of Siobhan Ryan on the soap opera daytime Ryan's Hope from 1982 to the year 1986. Her most well-known character was Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation (1900-13) and Immortality (2015 TV Film). Vegas is her sequel, and she has reprised this character since 2022. Her other appearances include K.C. Koloski is well known for her work in ABC's China Beach drama series (1988-91). She won an Emmy Award of 1990 as Outstanding Supporting Artist in a Series Drama. In addition, she has appeared on the TV shows Under the Dome, Intelligence and in the film Species (1996) Species II (1998), Erin Brockovich (2000) as well as Mr. Brooks (2007). She is one of four children. McCain completed her schooling through her school, the Phoenix Country Day School and Xavier College Preparatory an all-girl private Catholic high school. In 2007, she earned a bachelor's in art history from Columbia University. In 2017, McCain was a part of The View as a daytime co-host.
